Nurturing Lifelong Learners
DreamTree Preschool is a non-profit school affiliated with United Seattle Bellevue Korean School. We strive to meet the needs of the whole child, nurturing the love of learning and creating opportunities for independence and cooperation in a Montessori-inspired classroom enriched with a Korean-English dual-language curriculum.
Foundational Skills
Throughout the course of the day, we focus on Care of the environment, Care of the person, Grace, and Courtesy. Children practice dressing themselves, sweeping, spooning, pouring, using good manners, and much more. These activities help children become physically and mentally independent and responsible. They also learn to concentrate and complete a cycle of activity, which lays the groundwork for mental and physical work in all other areas of work in the future.
Multi Cultural Learners
We are devoted to providing an environment reflecting children's daily lives, family culture and language, and diversity in society. Our curriculum will include diverse literature, artifacts, foods, and celebrations so that the children can experience diversity firsthand.
Makerspace
Each classroom will have a designated area for the creative workshop called Makerspace, where children explore their imaginations using a variety of art mediums for self-expression. We embrace the fact that children with different learning styles provide opportunities to develop their potential fully.
Wholesome Foods
Encouraging healthy eating habits can be fun and engaging. Involving children in meal planning, grocery shopping, and cooking can make them more interested in trying new foods and understanding the importance of nutrition. Children will participate in snack preparation and cooking project. Our culinary specialist prepares weekly menus according to the nutritional guidelines and provide flavorful meals with Asian and Mediterranean flavors.
